Anastasia and her family used to live in Ukraine, but fled to Poland when shelling started near their home.

Anastasia greets everyone with a wide smile and speaks about Poland positively. She loves to learn, and attends a Save the Children-funded Ukrainian school where children can study in their native language, make new friends and integrate.

Like most children displaced by conflict, her dream is to: “live a beautiful life with no fighting and no war”.
