Five failed rainy seasons have left up to 20 million people in Ethiopia experiencing food insecurity. One of the consequences is an increase in child marriage.

At a school supported by Save the Children, Fardowsa is becoming an activist against child marriage and other harmful practices. She wants to protect girls in her community, and how parents that child marriage, “has no advantage for you, it is better to focus on your education and your own life”.
