Story Knits is a unique pre-loved knitwear pop-up store where every jumper tells the story of a child helped by Save the Children opening from 1st-7th December in Covent Garden London.  Pre-loved knits generously provided by Beyond Retro.

“To paddle the boat is difficult. I was taught how to do it by my father.”

Foday helps look after his younger brother and cousins in their village in Sierra Leone, where children often miss out on learning. He takes them in a canoe across a river to get to school, and helps with their homework. Like many kids, he dreams of playing football for Barcelona.

Save the Children has supported Foday’s school with repairs, toilets, and hiring new teachers. And now it’s achieving above the national average exam results.
