Hasan* age 17

“I want to become a special education teacher.”

Hasan and his family live in a tent in front of their ruined house in Türkiye, which was destroyed during the February earthquakes. In the aftermath, Save the Children supplied a food kit to Hasan’s family and helped provide hygiene kits, tents, toilets, and water to devastated communities.

Hasan’s school was destroyed too, but he dreams of returning. His goal is to become a special educational needs teacher and open a school to help his sister, who has mental and physical disabilities.
