José lives in Bolivia. He likes riding on a tube tied to his brother’s bike and helping his mum, Silvia, make empanadas. Silvia is an entrepreneur and farmer, but the harvest this year was failing due to poor rains and freezing temperatures, and they were running out of food.

Then Silvia received Save the Children training to start a knitting business. Now she’s saving for an oven, knitting thick jumpers to protect her children from the cold, and paying for her children’s education – the family’s future is bright.
