“Now I sleep, not fearing the earthquake…”

Kareem was terrified when the devastating earthquakes hit his house in Northern Syria earlier this year. Months later, his family were still sleeping in a tent outside their damaged home, and Kareem was scared of the tremors.

At a child friendly space managed by a Save the Children partner, Kareem has been able to learn, play and receive psychological support. He’s becoming less afraid, and dreams of gardening with his father again – and growing fruits together.
