Story Knits is a unique pre-loved knitwear pop-up store where every jumper tells the story of a child helped by Save the Children opening from 1st-7th December in Covent Garden London.  Pre-loved knits generously provided by Beyond Retro.

The pandemic, inequality and the cost of living crisis has taken its toll on many British families. At school in Greater Manchester, Keira was often hungry and struggled to concentrate.

Then her mum, Jess*, joined a food pantry – part of Save the Children’s partnership between key agencies and community leaders in the UK’s most deprived areas. They can eat better and cook together now and Keira, an avid reader and football player, is thriving again.
