Story Knits is a unique pre-loved knitwear pop-up store where every jumper tells the story of a child helped by Save the Children opening from 1st-7th December in Covent Garden London.  Pre-loved knits generously provided by Beyond Retro.

When she grows up, Kiki wants to be: “Whatever I want!” She’s considering being a hairdresser, shopkeeper, zookeeper or window cleaner.

As members of a food pantry in one of the UK’s most deprived areas, Kiki’s carers are amazed by how much they can get for £3. It means there’s a bit left over for fun things like swimming. They’ve also received activity packs and gone on days out with the community.

It’s all part of a Save the Children-led community partnership that’s improving life chances for children affected by poverty.
