Story Knits is a unique pre-loved knitwear pop-up store where every jumper tells the story of a child helped by Save the Children opening from 1st-7th December in Covent Garden London.  Pre-loved knits generously provided by Beyond Retro.

Silvia is mum to five children, including two-year-old Marian. She’s also an entrepreneur and farmer, but the harvest this year was failing due to poor rains and freezing temperatures, and the family was running out of food.

When she received business training from Save the Children, everything changed. Now Silvia is saving for an oven, paying for her children’s education with her profits, and can afford the wool for thick jumpers to protect Marian and her siblings from the extreme cold.
