Story Knits is a unique pre-loved knitwear pop-up store where every jumper tells the story of a child helped by Save the Children opening from 1st-7th December in Covent Garden London.  Pre-loved knits generously provided by Beyond Retro.

In remote villages in Sierra Leone, it’s not always easy to get an education. Tenneh has to cross the river in her canoe to get to school but she’s happy to, for a good education and encouragement from her teacher.

Save the Children provides materials, renovations and teacher training at Tenneh’s school. And the headmaster visits nearby communities to make sure no child is left behind. It’s working – students there achieve above the national average in their exams.
