In Ethiopia, where Yadira lives, female genital mutilation (FGM) is putting girls lives and futures at risk.

But at Yadira’s school, a club supported by Save the Children is helping children talk about the challenges girls face, such as FGM, and how to advocate against them through drama and activism. An emboldened Yadira, who joined the club to feel stronger in herself, now wants to become an architect. She doesn’t know any, but her parents support her dream.
