Story Knits is a unique pre-loved knitwear pop-up store where every jumper tells the story of a child helped by Save the Children opening from 1st-7th December in Covent Garden London.  Pre-loved knits generously provided by Beyond Retro.

Jok, who wants to be a humanitarian worker, lives in a part of South Sudan where children’s lives are disrupted by conflict, climate change and hunger. Revenge killings are common, and floods have wrecked homes, crops, and schools. Jok’s youngest sister recently had severe acute malnutrition.

To help the community cope, Save the Children is providing cash transfers for food, treating Jok’s sister and many more children for malnutrition, and welcoming Jok and others to a centre where they can learn, play, and feel safe.
