Story Knits is a unique pre-loved knitwear pop-up store where every jumper tells the story of a child helped by Save the Children opening from 1st-7th December in Covent Garden London.  Pre-loved knits generously provided by Beyond Retro.

Umut* likes playing games, drawing pictures, spending time with his friends and planting trees. He lives with his family in a tent next to their house, which was so weakened by the Syria–Türkiye earthquake it may not be safe.

Umut receives weekly visits from Save the Children’s mental health and psychosocial support team, who help the children relax and cope with the trauma of the earthquake and the devastation it caused. He loves it when they arrive in the village.
